db error apon file upload

heya, i just downloaded your version of logd (1.1.1.2 DP + NB) and uploaded all the files to my host in the correct order, i read the readme files and the install readme text,
went to install the game but it gave me a error straight away,

the error is :

ive looked at that file and the suspected line but i cant figure out why i get this error.

Cory, you uploaded or edited a "dbconnect.php"?

You should call the installer.php or home.php which will redirect you to the installer.

Obviously, you already did enter you database user already in that file, but left out the password.

ah sorted it,

i hadnt already entered any info for that.

well anywho i fixed it by..

deleting the dbconnect file in the main directory and the dbwrapper_mysqli_proc.php and dbwrapper_mysqli_oos.php files from lib directory.

when i did that the error went and i installed the game with no problems.

the lib file deletion were absolutely arbitrary and did not solve your problem.

if you put in the settings.php "mysql" as database engine, the files were not even executed.

the error was your database info, nothing more, nothing less.

hmm,
strange because i did put the mysql into the field in the settings.php folder.

hmm well i dont seem to be having any problems but if i come across any then it will prob be dues to this
